Beerburrum was the location for Round three of the Downhill Sunshine series yesterday. A new track recently built by the local council and Qld second legal Downhill track proved to popular on the day by the racers and spectators. Final results are still to be published by the race organisers but I was so happy for Bikeology riders Julie Berry and Chris Dalziel that I thought they would like their podium pictures. 

With on two rounds left for the season both Julie and Chris pulled out great runs on the day to confirm overall points for the season.  

Elite Women - Julie Berry 2nd

 Under 17 men - Chris Dalziel 3rd

Elite men Jarrah Davies had a great run but was let down with a puncture in the rock garden, which unfortunately stopped him qualifying for his race run. A great race between three Bikeology Expert racers, Peter Bradnam, Shane Berry and Sunni Chandra saw Shane take 4th place and left Sunni sneak 1 second from Peter and place 6th and 7th respectively. Kendon Peel racing Veteran category had a great race run and still waiting his confirmed result. Under 19 rider Joe Dymalla crashed out on his qualifying run unfortunately as he was looking fast and smooth through the rock garden. Under 19 rider James Steffensen was looking great and held a good run until an off in the rock garden. All final positions to be confirmed when released by the race organisers. 

Overall a great day of racing, great to catch up with everybody and congratulations once again to Julie and Chris on their final results.
